There are no new updates at this time regarding the investigation of the crash, said Fairfield Police Maj. Rebecca Ervin.
INITIAL STORY:
A two-vehicle crash on eastbound Union Centre has forced the road closed between Seward Road and Iwata Drive.
A car crashed and was trapped under a semi-truck on Union Centre Boulevard, according to Fairfield police. The driver was removed and transported to Bethesda Butler. The victim was then transported by medical helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Maj. Rebecca Ervin said.
The injuries were described as serious.
Emergency crews were dispatched just after 9:30 a.m. today for a report of an unresponsive victim.
Police are advising motorists to find an alternative route around the temporary road closure.
Be advised that Eastbound Union Center Blvd. in between Seward Rd. and Iwata Dr. is closed due to a traffic crash. Please avoid the area and find an alternative route!!!
